That all seems entirely as expected. Still no closer to deciding if I’ll watch it. Guess I’m curious about the production design of the lost era, but I’ve no skin in the game for the characters, and zero interest in martial arts and moustache twirling.

Doesn’t seem that interesting. A sci-fi action film with barely any connection to Star Trek, and no real reason for it to be part of the overall Trek universe.
