Outer Wilds can only ever exist as a video game, and it's experience can never be relived for the first time again.
It is a piece of art that cannot be told as a movie, show, or book. It can only exist as an interactive piece of media and it uses that to it's fullest extent.

Tell me about one of your favorite video games and why it means so much to you.

Should I persist?
I think I keep putting off playing it because I know its going to be epic, and also entirely unable to be replayed again.
I recommend it to people but find a lot get too anxious from time pressure or have lots of trouble with the platforming and 3d movement. They love everything else but I feel like the experience is unfairly locked off from them.
I've visited like 4 planets, and solved some puzzles but it ended up getting left at that.
What do I need to be hooked?
