Not really? None that immediately spring to mind - maybe it’s the jazz kid in me but I can think of about 10 jazz solos that live rent-free in my head, and about 10 more moments of solos that are just incredible

At the risk of sounding corny I’m most grateful for y’all, especially as of late as *gestures at everything* has been going on. We’re all in this together and it definitely makes me feel less alone and isolated.
Also having a job that cares for the people we serve and are ready to fight for them
Second: this is going to sound kind of awful but the city I live in kind of sucks, so really anywhere but here? I would love to live back in Switzerland but I think I’d miss the US too much. Maybe somewhere warmer with more to do. I’m not really picky.
Whoever wrote this probably knows that I pretty famously hate myself but here goes:
I am proud of the way that I connect with other people, no matter who they are or what background they come from, I always try to find common ground because life is so much more interesting that way

The one I consider the “best” is probably Kind of Blue or Time Out
The one I can listen to over and over and over again is either Cannonball & Bill Evans “Know What I Mean?” or Dexter Gordon’s “Go”
That was a big one I used to play before hockey games.
