Agreed. I loved government classes growing up. It’s so hard for me to wrap my head around what is happening right now. I feel like every day ends with “they can’t do that.”

I am thinking it was before I was old enough to vote. Which was in the 90’s? Ofcourse there was that one time. Newt Gingrich and Republicans wanted to shut down the government. It was my junior year of high school. So there was that. Republicans always just wanted to hijack the government.
