They are so much worse than we ever were. Even when we were crap, we were up there. Always 2-3 players short, but close. Capable of winning cups and beating anyone (but also being beat by anyone). And we always had stars - Fowler, Rush, McManaman, Torres, Suarez, Owen, Gerrard etc. They've noone.

Think our worst finish was 8th and it was about 50 odd points that season...With that lot on 29pts I think there's a real chance they don't get anywhere near that total or position and it'll be absolutely magic! Especially if we make it number 20 too...What they gonna sing about then hahaha

I think it's highly entertaining as well, although I must admit that the league has way more good teams nowadays, with all the TV money. Also, the economic rules, I wonder how many points we would have been punished with 🙃 So it's bad timing to suck for Utd. It can be a long way to get back 🙂
