Having worked in the cereal industry (not for General Mills), I’m hard-pressed to call them an oligarch. I don’t like their aggressive price increases after COVID, but that applies to a lot of grocery manufacturers.
While I agree with the sentiment, the problem with boycotting always is then its just "oh well, thats just a loss." When you do timed boycotts, they see the drop from everyone, then are reminded after what they could have. Pulling away the treat, then showing they can have it back if they're good.
