The problem is this:
There may well be a majority of people who want to rejoin/SM/CU/etc. but they vote for 5(?) different parties.
Any attempt to rejoin, will be met at the next GE by a 'save Brexit' bloc - probably led by Farage, and they'll get 35% of the vote, = enough to win.
.
We're buggered.
Regarding the sculptor story, art is a good way to immortalise the artist. People like Gill do not deserve immortality.
I wouldn't destroy the art, but definitely wouldn't have it on display in public either. The idea about displaying it in low-key places, where art-buffs can seek it out might work.
To make him move from Brexit the demand has to come from the bottom eg. another referendum, major protests, general strike or other civil disobedience.
Starmer is terrified by popular “insurrection” as much that he’s allegedly obsessed with Ceausescu’s fall events
Bring back James O'Brexit! The time is now! Finally - finally - James has taken his Keir Starmer footie scarf off! 'Alleluia! 'Alleluia! Blessed is he who comes in the name of calling a spade a spade and not a flippin shovel. xOliver :)
Excellent as ever, however, you gave me a fright when you asked on of the callers ‘question or answer?’ @mrjamesob.bsky.social 😳😎😅 Have a great weekend Sir ☀️
I was listening to the introductory monologue this morning & thinking 'wow, James is starting to get really angry here, like the old times'. It made me feel slightly nostalgic, though only for the passion, not for Brexit.....
Great to hear you clear your throat on this one James. My view is clear. I'm 63. I'm close to retirement. I'm moving to Ireland when I do and after five years of *reckonable residency* will apply for, and hopefully get, Irish citizenship. I have lost faith in this administration.

They are all Putins puppets and people need to wake up to it.

[Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental]
You James are a sane voice in all of that tumult!
Thank you!
