Following you on Twitter did that for me, but by the time I got to Bsky there was already so much. If anything, since following you here I've seen less.

There were only two cases where The Algorithm really went wild about in my case as a result of following some unrelated tech person.

First was trans political issues. Second, and far more persistent and weird, was Rhode Island local politics. Unstoppable, for months.

on my alt I've noticed that Discover doesn't really make distinctions on social graph directionality, and consequently hyperinflation is somehow always 2 degrees of separation away (eg accounts that accounts I follow follow like a tweet -> shows up in Discover)
