I literally looked for them so I could block them on X. My timeline usually never showed them, because I beat them to the punch. There’s still a lot of them here.
Indeed, right there with you. I just grew my blocked accounts list by 2 more haters. I suppose the trolls have figured out why Twitter is shrinking. ( deadname use was deliberate)

Me too! I never blocked much (except for 🤡 and Elon) at the other place, preferring to ignore them. But the tweets and comments were getting so disgusting I felt horrible after 5 min of scrolling. I'm going to keep my space here magat free.

I'm carefully looking for some key words... I'm trying them out 24 hours at a time... today trial is (fake) plus (news)... without the parenthesis and using the actual plus sign... hopefully, listing together like that works...
I'm starting to see too many trolls in threads I'd like to read without the bother... I figure if I can find a few key words and use my moderation settings, I might be able to at least cut down on them... I'm tired of the constant block dance... too much work!

Blocking republican extremists on Call to Activism is like therapy. I usually block 50 in 5 minutes daily. I do not comment, while it is tempting, just BLOCK-no oxygen for them. 😻

I'm trying to negotiate this site and vet people cautiously. I have absolutely blocked a number of users and certainly need to follow back many good people, but I'm not in a terrible rush to do either. It isn't like most people on these block lists are trying to interact with my anyway. Good luck!

I did that back at the bird site. I would use certain accounts, like Hillary Clinton, Pres. Biden and Obama, etc. as "bait." I knew their posts would bring out the trolls, so I would go through the replies and block, block, block away. I think my block count got as high as 16K. Improved my timeline.
They are begging for engagement. They need to vent that hate. Since we are leaving the Cesspool in droves, they can't vent. It reminds me of those old Zombie movies. After the survivors move to a new space, the Zombies are seen wandering around lost and looking for something to eat.
