Do a product type query in GMaps
“Engagement rings Williamsville”

In addition to listings, Google is now showing a Merchant carousel feed of products that match the query and are near the query centroid

You can view these on a map by clicking link below

If you click on a product, user is taken to the profile and the product is highlighted

If you click on highlighted product, you are take to a merchant center product screen

Randomly tried this on both a desktop browser and a mobile browser - can't reproduce. Must be unique to the app. That sucks.

Yes. ATM it is the Maps App only. However we usually see a feature start there and then migrate to the big leagues

There is a similar feature in the Google app but it is lacking the mapping capability
