I applaud these efforts wholeheartedly. Is there a risk of lack of balance? The NHS is drowning due to underfunding and mismanagement. Yet it still delivers so much for millions every day. Is there a risk with the lack of balance that people will lose faith? People who need the imperfect NHS?

I see this campaign as wholeheartedly positive because it is spearheaded by medics working within the NHS who care deeply enough to do something about the decline. When members of the public like me see this, we are heartened and see the sharp end of the profession as being on the side of patients.

It is not in a vacuum though and feeds into the media narrative of the ‘broken’ NHS. Which is dangerous in itself as it will be used as a justification for more privatisation.

No, I don't think so! This group is strongly against PFIs and other toe-in-the-door initiatives that could pave the way to privatisation; they call them out along with the politicians championing them.
