I also wonder where all the protesters have gone. Maybe protesting was easier when we had a government that we could trust not to use the military against civilians?

I mean, I know actual people who are connected to college campuses who supported those protests. I don't quite have the stomach to talk to them right now but omfg the "Genocide Joe" slurs seem beyond stupid now.
People who come on stories about Gaza that are going to affect millions of people who are not Americans to make comments like these are absolute ghouls
I would say people who didn't vote for Kamala because they didn't understand that Trump would advocate for the annihilation of Gaza are a more serious issue that people who are blowing off steam on Bluesky, but maybe that's just me
It says something about your character that you look at this story and feel righteous anger at a small group of voters rather than the people in power who have been committing a genocide through both administrations
Calling it "righteous" is a bit much. I do think people who failed to vote for Harris, and fail to see a meaningful difference even now, are not the brightest bulbs.
I seemed incredibly stupid then and beyond short sighted. But I agree with above poster, these were also largely driven my "Russia" and other interested parties.
Look, I will listen to Neil Young's "Ohio" in your honor right now, but it doesn't change the fact that people just voted for the fascists. US history has plenty of dark days but that doesn't mean all sides of this are the same.
the Kent state shootings , that takes me back . Thank you for that. might i recommend reading " The Untold History of the United States " by oliver stone and peter kuznick , if you have not already done so. i know a few american people who are outstanding but i have little faith in your governments

Biden sent $32 billion in American bombs to Israel to destroy 90% of Gaza and kill upwards of 200,000 Palestinian civilians, women and children. Violating US laws, Leahy and section 620I of the Foreign Assistance Act, to do it.
