so funny/insane when boomers have crazy loud sing-song ringtones in quiet spaces and literally don’t answer the phone until they slowly squint-read who is calling them while the ringtone is blasting the whole time

This has always baffled me. I guess they grew up with the concept of a phone as "thing that rings," but then again so did I, and I'd be mortified if my phone emitted a sound of any kind in public.
Right? And when Gen Z uses their speaker phones all loud in public like attention wh*res who think we all want to hear what's going on with their bias with too much rizz, or whatever the kids are saying with their kpop and roll.
That's harsh, man. I mean, if you live long enough you're gonna be squinty eyed, half deaf and a little behind on the latest technology too. Sonny boy.
Nah, we'll be doing our own funny thing.
The youngins'll complain, "It's hilarious when Millennials can't multitask their vert-sim tracks. You'll be trying to have a conversation w/ them and you can TELL they're sub-vocing on another line!"
Or maybe w/ the way things are going: "Millennials are the worst at weaving weft! Ok, yeah, great - you got your clothes in 'stores' when you were young, but NOW we have LOOMS. And memorize your planting companions or we're going to starve, JESSICA!"
I was just thinking about boomer ringtones this morning as my boomer coworker was slowly trying to process the information on his phone screen while the iPhone blues piano riff repeated at full volume over and over.
when I went to see avengers endgame there was a guy sitting directly in front of me that picked up a call, full brightness too. home boy wasn’t about to miss a second of the movie 😭
