People in higher education are going to have to break rules or surrender to destruction. There is no principal compliance that results in anything worth saving. But administrators at the top will keep their jobs and their massive salaries so I’m not optimistic about them. It must be us.

Yeah, I keep seeing statements like this, & they're important, but they only have meaning in the context of loud, collective, public speaking the budget cuts & attacks. It's fine to say "we'll defend core values," but you literally do that & comply with the new federal policies.
