God dammit it's cold and snowing in Texas. WHY DO I GOTTA DEAL WITH THIS?! I like the idea of snow, but not the rolling blackouts that usually come after cuz our shit power grid

I'm late seeing this, but what's the risk of frozen pipes over there? It's a less immediately obvious hazard when this shit rolls in, but it can make for a hell of a double whammy with power or heating issues.
oh there's always a risk. Family member during the last freeze last her entire attic to busted pipes. Did get a total house refurbish out of insurance.
