liberals are headed toward having to choose between a hammer and sickle or a swastika and i am begging someone to show me literally anything that would make me feel more optimistic about this than i currently do

When it comes down to the basic symbolism of proletariat solidarity between the industrial and agricultural workers coming together against the bourgeoisie, wealthy elite, and fascist.
yeah, sorry. social media isnt extremely representative but the loudest & most influential ones are currently meeting all of our most cynical expectations in ways both large & consequential and small & personal
I'm trying to reach out to those people, so that maybe they'll make the correct choice. I know there are many decent people who don't want to go the other way.
