Throwing this out there: I started a mutual aid organization in my town. Most of what we've done so far is connecting existing orgs to each other and boosting their missions. And that's great! It's so joyous to know that the first five things on our list are already existing projects. However...

The project i really want to get off the ground is a massively crowdsourced housing library. Rent is the primary impediment to all other organizing, and if we picked a town and bought all the available rental property just to crash the rental market, that could make the difference

Between distributing used jackets and cooking breakfast for the homeless, and totally rebuilding the relationship to property and the means of production. It begins and ends with canceling rent. Sorry to hijack your thread, but i feel like I've been yelling down a well.
