I wonder why they used signal. I mean surely they have already got some facility for secure topic based online meetings. And you have some aide who has appropriate security clearance who knows how to set this stuff up and support you on it

@AlgoCompSynth .. I guess .. but in what was leaked.. there was nothing we didn't know.
There was a discussion on the merit of the action. And some robust expression of opinion on Europe, that we already know they have. What part of that was worth keeping out of usual channels.
@kat They aren't at criminal risk as long as Donald Trump is OK with what they did, which I'm pretty sure is the case, since he's attacking the journalist and lawyers.
