Good article from Freedland. However, what if Trump/Putin have already "promised" to help each other?
1. Trump supplies arms to Putin so he can totally overrun Ukraine and take whatever else he wishes. The end of NATO/EU, a common goal.
2. Putin allows Trump free rein N/S America, plus Greenland?

I think this article gets everything the wrong way round. This isnt weakness by Trump, he hasnt given anything away, he has been batting for the Soviet team all along.
