I'd like more companies to grow, find a nice sweet spot, and just keep it running "as is" without further obsession for growth.
Got good revenue? Nice steady low growth organically? Stop adding features, keep the people there to refine stuff, and that's it.
Change only if big stuff happens.

i could rattle off big names, but unless you live in the area, chances are you’ve never heard of them.
but you’re right, chasing infinite growth is often a toxic practice.
Growth only exists in two ways.
Fueled by Debt.
Fueled by Sales.
Either someone takes a risk to expand the business. Or the business is unable to keep up without growing.
In the current system, If neither of those is possible, the business is in trouble.
Plenty of companies work as you describe, they just don't need publicity.
But for sure, that's what we need.
We need them ALL to work that way.
