I’ve never done anything at this scale before. I mostly used a “Roman” workbench - i.e. a low bench. I had to make a little extension first since otherwise the boards would have been too long

I mostly used hand tools - I did use a circular saw and a bandsaw, but I did flatten and joint everything by hand, and cut the joinery by hand (with chisels and a mallet/ hand saws)

The finish is “soft wax” from a recipe by Lost Art Press (I made it). Linseed oil, beeswax, citrus.

It is held together with hide-glue. It should last a long time, but once its life is over it can safely rot or burn!
