Do we know if there is work to research what drives NHS staff to attempt to take their lives? I note that Andrew Kersley writes there's no definitive evidence of what's causing the phenomenon.

I think the issue with the work around it can be summed up with the phrase: don't ask questions to which you don't want to know the answers.
