I know many lawprofs just love ideas & have been trained to consider most (all?) ideas as moot problems. The problem is that sometimes there are real life stakes

There is no serious case against birthright citizenship. The EO is unjust and unconstitutional. Those who claim otherwise are wrong, and law professors who are doing so are behaving irresponsibly.
