i've heard of some areas being more/less welcoming to foreigners, are there any places that you recommend NOT going as a foreigner (for tourism OR living), or any places you recommend going especially for those?

are there cities/towns i should look for a sort-of-short-term renting that has multiple rooms under ¥250k/mo?
i'm hoping for 3+ rooms to have an office space & include the people who have expressed interest in moving with me (as long as i can figure out the logistics).
if i don't get an office space in the home, as long as it's POSSIBLE to continue vtubing activities in a rentable office space (which i haven't looked into yet whatsoever but i feel like i've heard of before), i would be open to that, which would make it so i only need 2 bedrooms
we could POSSIBLY operate in 2 separate homes/apartments if they are close together, but it would be preferable that we could all live together.
living in share houses, unless we could all live in the one house, is not really something we're interested in exploring.
i've heard for years that the main method for immigrating is by becoming an english teacher, but it feels like that's been a "hack" for getting a visa for a really long time - is that still viable? have the requirements/expectations changed?
wrt: highly qualified individual visa thing - MAYBE one of the ppl immigrating would qualify.
is there a specific career path that one can technically gain this visa within 2 years if they start "from scratch" but work hard & quickly?
will any job do for getting a work visa (e.g. i immigrated as an english teacher, but got an entry level job or entered college while there & want to quit teaching), or does it have to be a specialized field? or do i need to stay an english teacher for ten years to get PR?
