this thought terminating cliche is always a fun one, especially when you know the person using it has freaked the fuck out over GTA6 potentially being $100
Not really "freaking the fuck out" over GTA6. I don't really play GTA so it is kind of a nothing release for me. I'm sure tons of people will buy it at launch and teach them that they can set the price to $100 and still make tons of money.
they do! so do we. but the prices of all goods, entertainment or not, are rising, yet we the people suffer. when you start out talking about game prices vs. the wages of the people who make them, you eventually end up at the point of "all workers need to be paid more, actually"
That's pretty funny you think any part of price increases is going to devs. Games are more profitable than ever, but unless it's infinite growth, corporations aren't satisfied because stocks don't go up, and that's why game prices went up. Nothing to do with paying actual creators any more.
I wouldn't, because it's been shown that without shareholder pressure and running the company well, games don't need to be priced that much or have MTX. Look at indies, companies like Larian or Supergiant, etc.

For MK, a family member had UMK3 for SNES. We just played that or SSF2T.
but also remember that the devs need to be payed better and have a better work/life balance.
Or is that anti-consumer as well?
these statements are in no way contradictory, btw. If you think otherwise you're both a shill and stupid.
