Moroccan and Iraqi Jews ended up in Israel when Arab nationalists expelled their indigenous Jewish citizens in "retaliation" for the actions of other unrelated Jews. They weren't "colonists," they were refugees. But the nationalists' point, and yours, is that Jews are interlopers wherever they go.
