The Supreme Court’s decision on July 1, 2024, established that presidents have:

1. Absolute immunity for acts within their core constitutional duties.

IT doesn’t grant the POTUS the authority to violate the U.S. Constitution, including the 14th Amendment explicitly guaranteeing birthright citizenship to all individuals born in the U.S.

He still has constitutional constraints & can’t unilaterally determine applicability.

I agree with you, fully, that it does not permit such actions. But the constitution and the courts are also not divinly-invested or divinely-enforced. Law only matters if people under its jurisdiction agree it matters. If 70 million people say 'go ahead', the constitution is not itself a defense.
