So that if admirers like me save a photo, & share it for non-commercial purposes, the photographer is recognised.
I have frequently used bird photos as a profile photo on social media.
Currently I have 1 of an outback road in Oz.
When I save photos on my iPad I don’t have the option 2 + details.

Hey Ken, i understand what this is about, but im not sure the alt text is actually saved with the image when you download an image for Bluesky. Just tried it and the alt wasn’t saved. Does it work for you?
