A note for media folks reporting on the FTC's stupid public comment thing regarding social media content moderation: you DO NOT have to accept the FTC's framing that this is about "censorship." It is not. It is about editorial discretion.

The media frame's as censorship at their own peril. If the FTC can regulate a private social media company's content moderation decisions, it is one step closer to regulating the legacy media's editorial discretion.
I’ve noticed media and pundits (especially) are quick to accept the framing of the whatever people say, and then argue under those pretexts, even when it’s patently obvious there are other motivations.

“The Constitution” has become a choose-your-own-adventure catchphrase instead of something we actually learn about in school.
