I think Borthwick has lifted England's floor from the latter stages under Jones, but their best days still aren't great. I just don't get Townsend as a test coach.

While Scotland can be better hard to look past the difference a ref made today. Would suggest a 10-13 point swing. Most egregious was Itoji boots in the air pen (although their try was also dubious). It happens far too often in a supposedly professional game.

Poor on both sides from the ref, penalty for crossing in the line out that led to the missed kick from Finn was an absolute nonsense.

I think that's the luckiest back to back home wins I can remember in the 6 Nations. France bombed about 4 tries and if Kinghorn had been place kicking that wouldn't have been close 😂
