1/ Having a compass tells us where the north is, it is one piece of information among others to help us navigate where we want to go, a means to an end. Our destination is to live well within planetary boundaries.

2/ The notion of a wellbeing economy brings us a holistic, coherent and actionable strategy for the future of the EU. #Competitiveness, environmental stability, or #SocialCohesion like endless GDP growth, should not be pursued for their own sake, but only as conducive to the overarching aim.

3/ It was disappointing to see the focus on #deregulation as the only way to achieve #competitiveness, which should eventually trickle down to prosperity. Competitiveness is so much more than that.
