To all “Blue Dots in Red States,” please spend time contacting your senators while these nominations are in play. Let them know you’re going to hold them accountable if they vote to confirm. If just 1 or 2 of the Republicans wobble, it could be enough to derail these disastrous nominations. Please.

PBS's federal funding is approximately 15%. The rest of the money comes from private foundation grants, corporate sponsorship, and donations from viewers. It has been this way as long as I can remember (and I'm older than Sesame Street!)

My wife and I have been contributors for over 20 years to WTTW in Chicago, it doesn’t cost much, consider contributing to help your local PBS station they are a bastion of knowledge and great programs.
