There's the International Red Cross, specifically set up way back to aid people in conflict countries and situations. They have an office in Israel and do work there, so thus far have escaped unscathed. Help is more at community rather than individual level. Money earmarked for Gaza until Dec.2025

Lexi, thank you for clarifying this: some of us were giving to UNRWA as of where the situation was last year, but it’s gotten far worse, and we’re not all well informed about where to give aid. Please keep posting the good links and I know I’ll repost to amplify. 🙏

This isn't a criticism on UNRWA, it's a criticism on those who still refuse to understand the situation. None of the big organizations trying to help Palestinians are allowed to, because Israel won't let them and the rest of the world doesn't interfere. That's why Palestinians have to beg.

Americans in particular are SO terrified of potentially being scammed that they see someone asking for money online and just immediately write them off, in my experience. Even though there's a lot of threads of verified campaigns on here that are easy to find.

Many of us have told you this repeatedly: if you're uncertain about a fundraiser being legit, just mute or block the account and STFU. You do not have to report them or discourage others from helping people survive

I’ve been using tiktok, where I can see the people, witness the decimation in the background (and hear the drones above), to give money (via ‘gifts’). I’m still putting monies into a couple of aid agencies, but as usual I’m unsure as to where any of that goes. Feel as helpless as ever.
