WFP’s food stocks in Gaza have been depleted.

◾No food has entered Gaza in over 7 weeks — the longest border closure the Strip has ever faced.
◾WFP has more than 116,000 tons of food positioned at aid corridors, ready to enter as soon as borders reopen.

Sister Alexandra, the people here in Mawasi camp are suffering from hunger in the literal sense of the word. It is not a lack of food, it is real hunger. People eat one meal a day and we leave food for the children. If the situation continues for several more days, signs of hunger will appear on us.
