desperate to get some decent quality sleep bc i could barely function today, so if anybody has any tips/tricks to help a stress-riddled adhd-er rest, i am all ears ππ½

Hot shower before bed, cool room, ear plugs you can sleep in comfortably (I like Loops) and I donβt know if I should rec it b/c itβs not evidence based but I personally found a big difference from taking a magnesium supplement. Oh, and my own blanket (spouse has his own too).
oo i currently have all of these things on hand but somehow have never used the loops quiet for their intended purpose? so will be changing that this evening for sure πππ½
As far as turning off brain to sleep, I will listen to a podcast (maybe even one Iβve listened to before, one I find comforting). The worst for me is when I wake up in the middle of the night and canβt go back to sleep. If itβs really bad, podcast sometimes helps me get a bit more sleep.
One (weird? maybe?) thing that has done wonders for my sleep is that Tall Collector will read a chapter of a book out loud to me as Iβm laying down to sleep. The sound of his voice is relaxing and really helps me wind down. Herbal tea, warm bath, and stretching also help me
