The problem isn't that Rachel Reeves lied about her employment history, it's that she told the truth when she said she'd be tougher than the Tories on benefits.

No idea, could all be bollocks, to be fair- my point is that that is NOT the point. I don't really care whether she did or not. I do care about her actual intentions, though.
But I’m not sure we should be repeating unproven hypotheses as if they’re facts, that’s how fake news becomes accepted.
Do we honestly think her CV wouldn’t have been checked out before she got one of the highest jobs in Govt?
Yes worry about her intentions, when don’t we after 14yrs of Tory lies?
You're right, I should have said "WHETHER she lied", really. Thing is, while it's true the Tories have fucked things up for 14 years, she promised to be tougher on benefits *IN 2014*, so it's not really relevant.
Except it sort of is. We need to avoid spreading fake stuff & biased stuff put out by the media, we know how that works, that’s all I’m saying.
Not commenting on her actual politics/deeds.
Yeah, and I've said you're right on that, but it's not what I was talking about, though it is a valid point. It's just a different conversation. The point I'm making is that you can't claim you've been forced to make tough decisions if you already made the decision ten years ago.
