Moonie Times is not being critical of the change. The reclamation of the pink triangle is one of a number of ways of advocating gay pride. So they are supporting "kick the gays out" they just chose a particularly charged image instead of like, a Lambda.

It's a right wing rag by an anti-gay church.

There did seem to be some who were associating the triangle specifically with the ad. Whilst I find it frustrating that people wouldn't work out what was going on, I've probably done the same multiple times myself

I had to find the original source to see if it was real. It is. For those who may not know, Nazis forced "sexual deviants" - primarily gay men - to wear pink triangles in concentration camps. It is uncertain how many were killed during the war.

I appreciate that a label was added to my post. I struggled with whether to share the link but it seemed important to confirm it was real. But I'd rather people know it comes from a source thart is known for its disinformation--and that the President chose to share it with all his followers.
