Finally got to the great Gauguin exhibit at the Houston Museum of Fine Arts today. I was really struck by Gauguin when the Smithsonian put together the largest ever exhibit circ 1988. I must have gone a dozen times. New perspective now since a trip to Rarotonga and a dip into Polynesian hist. & cult
