It cannot be overstated how much I love the map projection you chose for this.

It, by itself, makes our world have a veneer of the fantastical, the alternate, whilst still retaining the acknowledgement that, yes, this is /our Earth/.

It also means the political blocs make much more geographic sense than the usual equator-centered projections. You can actually trace the flight path of an ICBM here - much more geopolitically important than which places have the same length day.
