People get offended over very little these days.

I am a shortarse and occasionally ask someone tall to reach something off a shelf in the supermarket for me and never had anyone be offended by it

I suspect that there have always been utter arseholes, but there hasn't always been a social media platform for people to easily seek public confirmation from other arseholes.
