I still wonder why medical decisions are held to the informed consent standard, and yet decisions on governance of a country are held to the age > 16 standard.

I actually don’t mind the idea of everyone being more involved in how we respond to pandemics, but it’s not going to work out very well if people don’t know what the actual issues and dangers are.

Also need ethics courses… because it is not uncommon for the worst affected group to be a large minority group… or even a small one.

We need social and inclusive decisions.

We should just have that information in schools regardless ngl. I’m chronically ill and disabled. My first port of call every single time has been research and social media. And tidbits I got at school. Especially in a long covid world. Kids deserve to know what’s going on in their bodies.
