If you are saying that we are treating COVID like the flu… another dangerous and disruptive disease… we aren’t.

Not on any parameter.

Flu vax is strain matched and deployed ahead of the wave.

Flu antivirals are cheaper and more widely prescribed.

No question. Covid 19 is unique. In the US the government lied to us repeatedly. And it gave the Pharma companies immunity. I don’t know how the medical health profession gets its credibility back.

Before C19 people with influenza like symptoms were asked not to visit in hospital, esp NICU.

Various jurisdictions have asked COVID positive staff to come in to work.

It's also exceptional that C19 is the one disease it seems nobody is allowed / wants to mention by name.

Sickness these days is blamed on anything BUT Covid, and many ppl are adamant that they don't even want a Covid test!
