I would like to stay engaged with the present administration on the conversion therapy ban and the promised simplification of the GRA process. Where I have a voice and a channel, I believe in using it. But I feel very morally conflicted.

comprehend how a mother or father with a child in distress feels today. I help run a small group and we have kids who have had their access to puberty blockers removed in the previous bans. It pains me so much to hear them talk of suicide and in some cases have attempted it. I truly don’t know

what the answer is when all avenues of reasonable protest are made so hard. To carry on talking to these people gives them an air of legitimacy. I think on hindsight all of you currently engaging should resign and put out a joint statement highlighting the bigotry in the government.

I think you should stick with your work on the GRA and conversion therapy. Effecting change involves compromise and unfortunately that is often personally difficult.
The Cass report is horseshit and the Labour Party has shown itself to be incompetent by backing it. Chickens will come home to roost.

I think this is a demonstration that all the good faith engagement we do with them will be completely ignored.

I'm inclined to push for a total boycott and put our efforts toward lobbying LGBT and other organizations to resist and denounce Labour at every opportunity.

The ban was reached using an unreasonable approach (Cass doesn’t advocate a ban) and the outcome is unreasonable given UK practice & best practice in other countries.

Hi RMW, surely this decision is irrational and open to Judicial Review. a decision which is so outrageous in its defiance of logic or of accepted moral standards that no sensible person who had applied his mind to the question to be decided could have arrived at it’.
