I used to report on the Koch brothers. There were all these layers of front groups and semi plausible deniability. Elon and Trump just go for it out in the open.

When you think about it, it’s kinda amazing that a billionaire hasn’t tried so openly and brazenly to buy power. It’s always more subtle.
