I'm not sure it is that extreme. However, I certainly agree that we have a grossly incompetent administration that is catering to support people who crave power for their own sakes.

The wealthy will continue to become ultra-wealthy. There will be fewer checks against authoritarian states.

I was responding to the gif of a nuke. I do not think that is the end game. A political system that has always skewed right politically going more right under a fascist is not exactly a novel concept.

It feels extreme because we are living it, not reading it in a history book or watching on tv.

I'm not angry or lashing out at you. You brought up a valid point and I countered it with my viewpoint that nothing is off the table any more based on what we have already seen conspire over the last 2.5 decades. We live in a Twilight Zone Universe now.
