As soon as Korr distinguished between taking Zorr’s food simply because *he wants it* and asking for it because *he needs it* more than Zorr does, a question about Zorr either being or not being in the arbitrary power of Korr arose, and with it appeared the concept of political freedom. 2/3

Right and left start there too. Is not sharing a matter of 'personal responsibility' or is it selfishness? Is sharing a kind of insurance -next time the other person will share- or is it based on empathy, or on the culture of the tribe? Are individual rights more important than general well being?

It would be interesting for me to know when the term "political" becomes relevant. Perhaps when humanity moves from tribes to society? Why is man the only species that forms societies? What is the biologically natural state of human relationships?

As Vlad suggests and illustrates with his example, politics became an issue long before tribes. And it is evident in other social animals like canines. Depending how you want to define biology I would argue it isn't biology that determines it but social behaviour.

There are many things in our lives that we have learnt that would never come naturally to a person unless they are influenced by the school system. We take a lot for granted and I think that obscures certain problems that occur in our society.
