The buildings contains 10 courtyards and 130 rooms (though I heard its actually 300.) There were also hundreds of silverwares and porcelain items that were on display, paintings hanging and painted from the walls up to the ceiling, as well as sculptures that were made centuries ago.
You need to pay 10€ for the Residenz München entrance fee (other iconic places are also included in different tickets with different prices but I forgot to take a picture 😭)
They also provide a listening device that you can carry while strolling through the residence. It is free. The woman will give you a very fast instruction how to use them so pay extra attention.
Finally, do not touch and I repeat, do NOT touch any surface areas within the Residence. Not even the walls. I was gently reprimanded when I leaned on the wall while taking a picture. They‘re cool (the security guards) but just be careful and extra cautious of your surroundings.
