Great piece. Thanks for sharing. Joel Grey is right - in the 60s, when the play was first produced, there was a very visible resistance: demonstrations on the streets, on TV, the Pentagon Papers. Now, if the corporate media fails us, as it seems it will, the revolution indeed won't be televised.

I grew up with the recording of this musical and, while I understood much of it during the 60's and 70's it was a warning of what was passed. Now it is much more ominous of things to come. We must not normalize hatred. We must be vigilant now. We must stand up for each other.
