My advice for fellow introverts who are hesitant to get out from behind the keyboard and get involved.
Set your fears aside and do it.
Go to a rally. Attend a meeting. Dip your toe in the water.
Nothing helps wash away the despair like being around others who are as concerned as you are.

Just because you show up doesn't mean you have to speak up or even hold a sign.
Me - a person with A LOT to say on Bluesky - went to my first protest recently and I just stood there.
But I showed up.
Baby steps!
I assured her that I was an introvert, not an interloper, lol.
She smiled and handed me a small American flag to wave.

Know that you're not alone, and that there are ways to help the cause, little-by-little.
