Rep. Green accepted his censure, and gave a profoundly eloquent speech explaining why he would and may accept another for the same offense. IMO this is not the hill to choose. Others apparently felt the same way. True civil disobedience assumes acceptance (and exploitation) of the punishment.

I called every one of their offices and let my feelings be known. About half the offices had a person answer who was clearly not having a great day. Felt very much like they’re getting inundated with angry calls.

i don’t care about any of that because i don’t require any congressperson to subscribe to all my beliefs. I don’t believe in purity tests. I do think that Trump/Musk represent a unique, catastrophic, and fascistic threat to our country. So in this one narrow instance, I regret Moskowitz’ decision.
